Using the Quick Access Toolbar (in Word, PowerPoint or Excel):

Have you ever noticed the mini toolbar in the top left corner of your Word/PowerPoint/Excel or Outlook screen?  It’s called the Quick Access Toolbar, and its designed to allow you to add your favorite commands to it, for easy access.  Once you customize this toolbar, you’ll be able to use the command/icon without searching through the tabs.  You might add the commonly used items such as SPELL CHECK and QUICK PRINT.  To add commands/icons to the toolbar:

  • RIGHT CLICK any command and select Add to Quick Access Toolbar
  • To add multiple commands, click the drop down arrow to the right of the QAT, click More Commands
